Come in from the cold this coming Tuesday and warm yourself with the glow of live music.

Kicking off are London locals, Kinkane, their poppy hooks inducing foot tapping a plenty. Jessie Rose, her ukulele and her band are a more eclectic affair, having apparently been lost in the music of early 50s rock n’ roll they stumbled through 70s ska and bumped into the big divas of soul. Picking themselves up in 21st century Manchester they hit the road for the amusement of all. Catch them in Camden before they end up elsewhere.

Next up the Dublin Castle again welcomes some international trend setters. Norway’s Lukestar are causing a lot of excitement with their blend of 90s power pop, sheer excitability and layered melodic sensibilities.

Headlining tonight, the seismic phenomenon that are The Toxic Airborne Event. We need to say little about this band – you’ve all read the reviews and heard the record – apart from informing you that this band must been experienced live!

See you there!

Although falling close to Halloween, there’s nothing horrible about the bands appearing at the Dublin Castle this coming Tuesday, just more aural treats courtesy of indiestore and Club Fandango.

Kicking off this week’s ear-pleasing showcase are the beehive armed, sass-soaked sounds of The Priscillas. With attitude, and punky licks aplenty the group are bound to warm things up nicely. Next up, the northern fury of DALLAS cranks the amps up with a sound akin to Buffalo Tom playing Dammed songs, they play love songs for punk rockers.

The angular, arena-leaning sounds of Easter Parade, have already won them many plaudits including a slot at this Serbia’s EXIT festival and they return once again to wow the Dublin Castle. Rounding up are Deptford’s finest Tape The Radio. Having recently toured with Athlete and a new EP available this is a band going places – get involved!

Listen to Easter Parade below.

What better to do on a dark Tuesday evening than indulge your music cravings at Camden’s Dublin Castle?

Headlining on this autumn evening, and having spearheaded ‘this year’s glam rock revival’, Glam Chops’ sound,
as you would expect from a band with such a moniker, is a spangled, make-up caked, tongue-in-cheek throwback to
the behemoths of yesteryear.

Hertfordshire has been a frenetic centre of musical activity recently and Model Horror are the latest locals to
come blazing into the consciousness of the nation’s audience and media, including much coverage from Radio1 and
NME. A breathless assault of casio and guitar led melody combined with pounding rhythm should see them amass plenty
more fans by the years’ end.

In support this week are the veteran electronica and folk duo of Day One, even if you’re not familiar with the
name you’re guaranteed to be familiar with at least some of their output, being featured in TV series such as Skins
and Six Feet Under. Rounding up the bill are the powerful spectral melodies of Copenhagen band Choir Of Young Believers

See you there!

In the coming weeks indiestore will be unveiling a new design for all indiestore artist pages.  We will initially be showcasing the design on a select few indiestore artists before we roll it out across all stores.

The new design will be moving away from artist centric stores and moving towards a shared store on indiestore.com. This shared store will give fans the chance to buy music from multiple indiestore artists in one basket, have all prices for indiestore artist tracks to be converted a single currency based on the location of the buyer and allow for related artist recommendations to be pushed to listeners.

Artists will be losing the ability to customize their store with banners, store templates and background images, but will gain from giving independent music listeners and fans an easier way to discover and download your mp3 music.

Here are some snapshots of the new design. If you are an artist and would like to be apart of the first phase of roll out, please leave a message here with your indiestore URL name and we will get in touch.

Also, please leave us with any comments and questions.

Thanks,

indiestore team

Once again another amazing night for new music at Camden’s Dublin Castle.

Leading the way this week is the sumptuous sibling dance-pop duo of The Cordelier Club. With more than a little hint of Chromatics and Hot Chip in their music, the enveloping velveteen vocals and intimate synth melodies make them a must see.

Supporting this month are Four Dead In Ohio. While their name references folk hero Neil Young, their sound very much pays its dues to washed-out psychedelic rock. Think of The Verve and the Black Rebel Motorcycle Club with some cues to 60s blues influences. An expansive and immensely pleasing sound.

Hailing from the valleys of South Wales, The Last Republic’s sound is epic and anthemic indie rock. Surging guitar and keyboard led melodies, a driving rhythm section and the truly astonishing vocals of John Owen, have earned them national airplay. Expect very big things.

Rounding up, Gideon Conn is set to make heads nod with his unique blend of acoustic-led, big-band backed hip-hop.

You owe it to yourself to indulge your cravings for amazing new music. See you there!
